This list is a product changelog, not a marketing feed. Dates come from the public commit history of the CricClash source. When a change only exists as part of a larger snapshot, it is dated to that snapshot rather than invented as a separate day. New entries should be added here when a real change ships — including this page, which is only useful if it stays current.
Finished Play a Friend matches now show a short Match ID on the result screen and the share card. Anonymous team, seed, and scoring data is kept for 14 days so a reported result can be looked up. Display names are not stored with that record.
Content pages now carry the CricClash logo in the header so they match the game. The creator credit on About and Privacy sits in the page footer instead of a fixed overlay on the text. Desktop homepage supporting copy is a little brighter; mobile layout is unchanged.
Restyled the desktop homepage so the mode tiles are the clear first focus and the descriptive copy reads as supporting context, not a second panel. Wording was not changed — only type size, colour, and column weight. Mobile layout was not changed.
The homepage no longer renders as a fixed-width mobile card on desktop. From 768px it uses a two-column layout, with the existing descriptive copy in the first screen rather than after the mode tiles and leaderboard. Mobile layout was not changed.
IPL T20 death overs no longer cap a set, high-power batter more tightly than a newcomer. Set hitters now get a skill-scaled four-cap and a modest death acceleration; sides with wickets in hand get a small intent nudge in overs 16–20. A quality death attack can still keep a batting side contained. First innings and chases both use the same change.
Published a Guides section (IPL venues, ratings methodology, AI difficulty, Auction Trilogy strategy, and an all-time XI from the forty-team catalog) plus this changelog. Auto Ads remain on content pages only. Sitemap lastmod values are now the dates pages were actually edited.
Added Brabourne, Holkar, Green Park, Mohali, and Barsapara (Guwahati) to the IPL venue pool. The original eleven grounds were not retuned. Play a Friend auto-assign now draws from sixteen stadiums. Walkthrough: IPL venues.
IPL bowlers now carry a recorded pace/spin craft instead of the T20 engine guessing from the name. Venue modifiers that boost spin (Chepauk, Ekana) or pace (Green Park, Barsapara, Mohali) can aim at the right people.
Shipped How to Play, Modes, FAQ, About, Terms, Privacy, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and ads.txt so the site can be crawled as a real product rather than a blank app shell. Those pages are still the mechanical source of truth; the September 18 guides add depth on top of them.
Ruthless AI now drops a greedy pick that would make a legal XI impossible on the current squad (keeper, bowling attack, or uncovered batting slot). Casual and Balanced were not given that filter. Plain-language write-up: difficulty.
ODI death chases now weight the actual bowler in hand rather than treating every death over as interchangeable. This is a realism fix in how pressure is applied to the chase, not a new difficulty slider.
Initial public source drop and the rebrand to CricClash. Solo Draft was removed from the live home path. That snapshot already included IPL T20 with forty franchise seasons, a four-overseas cap, and the match engagement layer on the live board (momentum, pressure, milestones, predicted score). Auction Trilogy, Versus, Elite Pitch, and Expert vs AI shipped in the same tree. Subsequent dates below this line are the ones with their own commits.
